Bolt-On Extension – Complete Hose Kit
The bolt-on exhaust extension hose kits are available in both silicone and steel hosing, and in various diameters depending upon the model you select. The price of each kit will vary depending on the options you select, and the prices will be displayed as you select each option. When selecting a diameter of hose, as a general rule of thumb, use the following guidelines.
- 3/4″ Diameter – Smaller hose can be used for up to 5 or 6 feet in length at most.
- 1″ Diameter – Can be used for up to 10 feet in length.
- 1.5″ Diameter – Can be used for distances over 10 feet.
Quick Disconnects are only available for 1.5″ Diameter hoses. Through-wall kits are available for 1” and 1.5” diameter hoses. All available extra options will be shown for whichever model you select as you customize your package. Bolt-On Extension – Hardware Only Kit
Occasionally we get requests for hardware only orders. This is for people who already have their own hose and may want to use it on a different generator, or for people who may want to use standard 3/4″ or 1″ threaded pipe as a hose, which in that case would require 3/4″ or 1″ NPT Hardware. The price of each kit will vary depending on the options you select, and the prices will be displayed as you select each option. The available sizes for hardware only are:
- 1″ Diameter – to be used with hose up to 10 feet.
- 1.5″ Diameter – to be used with hose up to and over 10 feet.
- 3/4″ NPT – for 3/4″ steel threaded pipe up to 10 feet.
- 1″ NPT – for 1″ NPT steel threaded pipe up to 10 feet (on select models).
- 4″ Hardware – to be used with 4″ dryer exhaust hose (hose not available from this site).
1.5″ Diameter, 3/4″ NPT, 1″ NPT, and 4″ hardware each have optional quick disconnects available. All available extra options will be shown for whichever model you select as you customize your order. Quick Disconnect Fittings
Thru-Wall Exhaust Ports
Quick disconnect fittings allow you to quickly remove your hose from your generator, and are available on the 1.5” tubing designs. Fittings are open, so generator can be run with remaining half of fitting without issue. These fittings are fitted with a high temperature O-ring seal for durability. If a quick disconnect is being considered, it can always be added to any 1.5” tubing design at a later date.
Through-wall exhaust ports for 1” and 1.5” ID tubing are available to complete your project. These kits are constructed from stainless steel to give you years of trouble free service. The overall length of the assembly is approximately 13” with about 8” of that going through the wall. Inside wall mounting brackets and the proper clamp are included in the kit. Kits are available in “Single Shield” and “Double Shield” options.
A “Single Shield” kit is one layer of metal, and a “Double Shield” kit has two layers of metal with a space in between each layer, and offers better insulation from the heat of the exhaust.
MAGNETIC DIPSTICKS
Along with exhaust extensions, top of the line magnetic dipsticks are offered for some makes and models. During normal operation of a generator, fine metal shavings will develop in the oil thus causing significant engine wear. Our highly magnetic dipsticks are very effective at collecting these metal shavings; thus greatly reducing wear and tear on the engine.
Magnetic dipsticks are interchangeable that fit the EU1000i, EU2000i, and EU3000is, along with Honda engine models GX100, and GXH50. A different design magnetic dipstick is available that fits the EU6500is, EU7000is, along with Honda engine models GX240, GX270, GX340, and GX390.
Magnetic dipsticks are available to fit the Champion 3500/3400/3100/2800 watt inverter generators. A similar design, but specific to the Champion 2000 watt inverter generator is also available.
Magnetic dipsticks are available in two options; anodized and non-anodized. Non-anodized dipsticks are made of aluminum, whereas anodized dipsticks are also aluminum, but go through a coating process that ensures that the aluminum dipstick will never seize to the aluminum block of the engine. This is especially helpful in marine environments and saltwater environments. The anodized dipsticks appear to be maroon in color.
