The available options are 3/4" hardware, 1" hardware, 1.5” hardware, 3/4" NPT hardware, which can be used with 3/4” NPT threaded steel pipe, or 4” hardware, which is used for dryer exhaust type hoses. 4” aluminum exhaust hoses can be purchased at any hardware store. You have the option of adding a discounted quick disconnect for the 1.5", 3/4" NPT, and 4" hardware , and a discounted through-wall kit for the 1” and 1.5" hardware. A Through-Wall Kit mounts in the wall of your building or enclosure and allows you to hook up your extension hose and vent your generator exhaust outside. Kits are available in longer and shorter versions for 1" and 1.5” hoses (both for steel or silicone hoses). The longer kit is more suitable for going through thick exterior walls, whereas the shorter kit is more suitable for going through a single layer wall, such as a plastic utility shed. Both versions of the Through-wall kits are “Double Shield”. This just means that there are two layers of metal with a space in between each layer, and offers the best insulation from the heat of the exhaust.
