Through-wall kits are available for 1” and 1.5” diameter hoses. Magnetic dipsticks are available that will fit a Honda EU3000is generator in two options; anodized and non-anodized. Non-anodized dipsticks are made of aluminum, whereas anodized versions are also aluminum, but go through a coating process that ensures that they will never seize to the aluminum block of the engine. This is especially helpful in marine environments and saltwater environments. The anodized magnetic dipsticks have a color anodized finish; the color depends on the model. Oil drain tubes are also available which will fit a Honda EU3000is generator. They are available only in a non-anodized version, as they are only used when needed to change the oil. They simply slide over the oil drain port and allow you to remove the drain plug with a socket to drain the oil, leaving the plug in place within the oil tube after it is loosened. Once the oil is drained and new oil is added, simply tighten the plug back up with the oil drain tube, and then clean the tube with isopropyl alcohol. They are offered at a discount when adding to your order. Please note that these tubes are for draining the oil only, and cannot be used to add oil back into the unit. A Through-Wall Kit mounts in the wall of your building or enclosure and allows you to hook up your extension hose and vent your generator exhaust outside. Kits are available in longer and shorter versions for 1" and 1.5” hoses (both for steel or silicone hoses). The longer kit is more suitable for going through thick exterior walls, whereas the shorter kit is more suitable for going through a single layer wall, such as a plastic utility shed. Both versions of the Through-wall kits are “Double Shield”. This just means that there are two layers of metal with a space in between each layer, and offers the best insulation from the heat of the exhaust.
