Please select from the options at the bottom of this page if you would like to order the Genexhaust bolt-on hardware without a hose that will fit a Champion #72 model. The available option is 1.5” hardware (both for steel or silicone hose), 1” NPT hardware, which can be used with 1” NPT threaded steel pipe, or 4” hardware, which is used for dryer exhaust type hoses. 4” aluminum exhaust hoses can be purchased at any hardware store. Scroll through the images to see the available hardware for this model. To determine which option you have, you will need to look at your spark arrest cover plate to see if you have “MODEL NO.72” stamped into your plate. The quick disconnect is an extra option and is not included in the price of the hardware alone. You have the option of adding a discounted Quick Disconnect for 1.5", 1" NPT, and 4" hardware, and a discounted Through-Wall kit for 1.5" hardware. The prices for each item are listed as you make your selections. Anodized and non-anodized magnetic dipsticks are also available for models which have dipsticks with the following part numbers: P/N 46.031000.00.48 or 22.031000.00.48. If you would like to add a magnetic dipstick to your order, you will need to look in your owner’s manual and verify that you have a dipstick that matches one of those part numbers. You can locate the part number for the dipstick in your manual in the parts list, shown after the parts diagram. Non-anodized dipsticks are made of aluminum; whereas anodized versions are also aluminum, but go through a coating process that ensures that they will never seize to the aluminum block of the engine. This is especially helpful in marine environments and saltwater environments. The anodized oil dipsticks appear to be maroon in color. A Through-Wall Kit mounts in the wall of your building or enclosure and allows you to hook up your extension hose and vent your generator exhaust outside. Kits are available in longer and shorter versions for 1.5” hoses (both for steel or silicone hoses). The longer kit is more suitable for going through thick exterior walls, whereas the shorter kit is more suitable for going through a single layer wall, such as a plastic utility shed. Both versions of the Through-wall kits are “Double Shield”. This just means that there are two layers of metal with a space in between each layer, and offers the best insulation from the heat of the exhaust.
