Please note that our equipment is only compatible with the following model numbers: 73535i, 73536i, 73540i, 100489, 100148, and 100455. There are newer versions of the Champion 2000 watt generators that our equipment is not compatible with, so be sure to verify that you have one of the listed models before purchasing. The available options are 1” and 1.5” hardware (both for steel or silicone hose), ¾” NPT hardware, which can be used with 3/4” NPT threaded steel pipe, or 4” hardware, which is used for dryer exhaust type hoses. 4” aluminum exhaust hoses can be purchased at any hardware store. You have the option of adding a discounted quick disconnect for 1.5", 3/4" NPT, and 4" hardware, and a discounted through-wall kit for 1" and 1.5" hardware. The prices for each item are listed as you make your selections. A Through-Wall Kit mounts in the wall of your building or enclosure and allows you to hook up your extension hose and vent your generator exhaust outside. Kits are available in longer and shorter versions for 1" and 1.5” hoses (both for steel or silicone hoses). The longer kit is more suitable for going through thick exterior walls, whereas the shorter kit is more suitable for going through a single layer wall, such as a plastic utility shed. Both versions of the Through-wall kits are “Double Shield”. This just means that there are two layers of metal with a space in between each layer, and offers the best insulation from the heat of the exhaust.
